CORAL BELT CARLSON GRACIE EXPERIENCE

This is not going to be just another seminar. This is a once-in-a-lifetime event.

On January 8th and 9th, we are bringing together generations of Carlson Gracie Jiu Jitsu for a very special weekend celebrating history, friendships and legacy.

Professors Renato Tavares, Francisco Albuquerque “Toco,” and Marcelo Pache “Playmobil” will receive one of the most important promotions of their Jiu Jitsu journeys: the Coral Belt, presented by Masters Carlson Gracie Jr. and Marcelo Alonso.

For us, this promotion represents much more than the color of a belt. It represents decades on the mats, thousands of students, competitions, victories, losses, friendships, sacrifices, and a lifetime dedicated to Jiu Jitsu and the Carlson Gracie Team.

And because this is such a special moment, we want to create the best experience possible for everyone who comes to celebrate with us. We want people traveling to Vero Beach to leave with memories they will talk about for years. This is truly a one-of-a-lifetime Jiu Jitsu experience.

The weekend begins Friday at 6:00 PM with an Open Mat at RT Martial Arts West, 6200 20th St., Suite 382, Vero Beach, FL. This will be an opportunity for everyone to train together, reconnect with old friends, meet new ones, and start the weekend the way our Carlson Gracie family knows best on the mats together.

On Saturday morning at Walking Tree Brewery, Masters Carlson Gracie Jr. and Marcelo Alonso will lead a special seminar beginning at 9:30 AM.

At 11:00 AM, we will have the Coral Belt Promotion Ceremony for Professors Renato Tavares, Toco Albuquerque, and Marcelo Pache. This will be the centerpiece of the weekend a moment celebrating not only three professors, but the history and generations of people who helped make their journeys possible.

But we don’t want the experience to finish when we leave the mats.

At 7:00 PM, everyone is invited back to Walking Tree Brewery, 3209 Dodger Rd., Vero Beach, FL 32960, for live music and a celebration. Students, families, friends, teammates, and members of the Jiu Jitsu community can spend the evening together celebrating this historic moment.

This event is about more than Jiu Jitsu.

It’s about the people we met because of Jiu Jitsu.
The friendships we built.
The teachers who came before us.
The students who continue the legacy.
And the Carlson Gracie team that has connected us for so many years.
